SKIN-CAP foam contains substances necessary to maintain the skin's barrier function. First of all, they are ceramides - ceramide NP, ceramide AP and ceramide EOP, as well as additional components, the addition of which increases the efficiency of ceramides. Ceramides, together with fatty acids and cholesterol, form a lipid matrix in cells, a kind of 'cement' that holds together the 'bricks' of the skin's adhesive layer, creating a barrier that protects the skin from dehydration, exacerbating chronic skin diseases and aging.
