Potassium permanganate powder is used to prepare solutions in various concentrations for local use: for the treatment of infected wounds, ulcers, abscesses, eczematous diseases and acute inflammation of the skin, especially in the presence of a secondary infection, deodorization of the skin, fungal skin diseases such as "mycosis" in inflammation skin caused by ivy (itching after skin contact with ivy).
