NO-SPA tablets contain drotaverine hydrochloride, an antispasmodic agent. It relaxes the smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract, bile ducts, urinary tract, genitals and vascular system. It is used to reduce spasms of smooth muscles in the following cases: cholelithiasis, inflammation of the gallbladder (cholecystitis), inflammation of the bile ducts (cholangitis and papillitis); kidney stones (nephrolithiasis), stones in the ureter (ureterolithiasis), inflammation of the renal cup, inflammation of the bladder, and bladder spasms.
