Calgel Gel is a gum gel. Calgel Gel is used to relieve pain caused by tooth formation in infants and children. The active ingredients are lidocaine hydrochloride and cetylpyridine chloride. Lidocaine hydrochloride is a local anesthetic. It works quickly, helps to relieve toothaches, and desensitizes the gums in babies. Cetylpyridine chloride has an antiseptic effect.
