Bepanthen Plus Cream protects superficial wounds from infection and fights existing infections. The cream contains chlorhexidine, which is effective against bacteria, and dexpanthenol, which is quickly converted into vitamin (pantothenic acid) in the skin, accelerating wound healing. Bepanthen Plus Cream is used to treat:
- any minor wounds that may become infected (abrasions, minor cuts and scrapes, lacerations, minor burns, wounds);
- inflamed and infected areas of skin; - cracked nipples during breastfeeding;
- only after consulting a doctor: in case of chronic wounds such as leg ulcers, bedsores, pressure ulcers, and surgical wounds;
- skin infections, such as secondary infections during treatment for another skin condition (eczema, neurodermatitis, etc.).
Indications for use:
• Various types of superficial wounds with a risk of infection: e.g., lacerations, cuts, abrasions, skin fissures, burns, scabs, dermatitis.
• Chronic wounds, e.g., leg ulcers and pressure ulcers.
• Skin inflammations, e.g., secondary infected eczema and neurodermatitis.
• Treatment of cracked nipples in nursing mothers.
• Minor surgeries - trauma and surgical wounds.
