Afrin nasal spray, solution contains the active substance oxymetazoline hydrochloride. Afrin relieves nasal congestion by narrowing the blood vessels in the nose. It starts working in a few minutes and lasts for several hours. Afrin is used to relieve symptoms of nasal congestion caused by hay fever, colds, and sinusitis. It can be used every 12 hours. If after 7 days you do not feel better or feel worse, you should consult your doctor.
